Staff Picks are back this week with another gem from deep in the Dim Mak Vault with another staff pick from our full-time, part-time, intern and external staff and close friends. This week's "staff picker" is intern, David Melgar, who selected "Victory Gardens" from The Icarus Line!! "Attempting to pick just one song off of “Black Lives at the Golden
Coast” is a hard task in itself due to the fact that the whole record is
simply brilliant. With it’s psychedelic infused instrumentation, 60’s
inspired musical direction, and just its overall sound make picking just
one song extremely hard. However one song that I find myself addicted to at
the time has to be 'Victory Gardens'.Victory Gardens” is a purely beautiful song! The song carries a very melodic tone throughout, and really puts you into a state of relaxation,
and one with the song. It’s defiantly a song to listen to after a crazy,
hectic day, and is a great passageway to the song that follows.  The whole
album to me is human emotions in musical form. The album truly tackles
every emotion and packages them each into a great song!"
