DOWNLOAD: The Antlers - Apple Orchard (Beach House cover)

Picking a good cover is hard, especially when you want to render homage to a band that only just released their second critically acclaimed LP this year. The Antlers pull it off though, and have made “Apple Orchard” by Beach House their own. Peter Silberman, the wunderkind behind The Antlers, takes notes from Grizzly Bear’s 21st-century-Beach-Boys-act and overdubs some miraculous harmonies onto the track. It’s not a huge departure from Beach House’s desolate indie ballads, but it’s commendable none the less.
