VIDEO: CSS - Left Behind
We're so excited for Donkey, the new album by Brazilian pop-rock juggernauts CSS, we're actually contemplating going to a record store and buying it on the day it comes out, something we haven't done since at least 2002 when we were really, really into the White Stripes. Like, really into them. It just might be that we love CSS even more, and even though we're still giving their debut album Cansei de Ser Sexy healthy spins around the office (we don't believe the brilliance of "Let's Make Love and Listen to Death from Above" will ever be topped), this new video for CSS' new single "Left Behind" by Brazilian performance artist Renata Abbade has got us seriously whipped up into a frenzy. It starts off kind of boring, but swiftly kicks it up until by the chorus you're going "yeeeaaaahhhhhhh!" and singing along to Lovefoxxx's cutesy vocals. Donkey comes out on Sub Pop next week and it's probably going to be our album of the summer. Natch.
