The Do's music combines playful attitude with badass too-cool-for-cheap-thrills character with slight schizophrenia. The duo soaks up and squeezes out a devilish combo of blues, rhythm & blues, jazz, bebop, hip-hop, and rock (not necessarily in that order) through a synthed-out electronic sponge that is dried up and smoothed over with Olivia's sleek, pop-friendly voice. To add to the suspense, there's always a layer beneath their songs that's screams “Come Hither”- highlighting perhaps serious chemistry between Dan Levy and Olivia Merilahti. (Such chemistry displayed in the shot above- there's something breezy, care-free, and delectable about the photo- while it leaves you smiling and then wondering why the F*ck Dan's pants are half down.) The track below "Playground Hustle," inspired seemingly by college-band percussion, is a call-to-arms to play and frolic with abandon. They are kicking off their European summer tour today at Les Ardentes Festival in Liege, Belgium (where not-so-coincidently of course we plan to play and frolic as well).

Sounds like: The Knife, Tegan & Sarah, The Kills
