It’s so big secret around these parts that we love us some Chromeo—ever since the delicious ‘80s beats of their first album She’s in Control, way back in 2004, with the undeniable party anthem “Needy Girl”. God, those were good times. Their second album, Fancy Footwork, was released last year to rave reviews, and the band have just put out a deluxe edition of the LP, with remixes and all that good stuff. One of them is a remix of their recent single “Bonafied Lovin’” by none other than amazing French techno producer Yuksek (on a side note, is there literally anything coming out of France at the moment besides techno producers? Not that we’re hatin’ or anything, just saying). The mix of Chromeo’s post-millennial funk and Yuksek’s electro makes for a pretty happy mélange, we must say.
