Grizzly Bear seem to blazing on the path to fame and success harder than ever before. After, uh, OPENING FOR RADIOHEAD on their US tour, Daniel Rossen (Grizzly’s virtuoso guitarist) has signed to 4AD with his solo project Department of Eagles, and the Grizz are set to play a charity event in Brooklyn on August 9th. They’ll be taking the stage at the Music Hall of Williamsburg for The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation flood relief, and Bowery Presents will be donating $1 per ticket to the organization. So not only can you see what is bound to be a kick-ass show, you can do so in good conscience that you’ve done your part. See you down the front…
