Germany's minimalist muses- Booka Shade (i.e. Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier) chose to begin the song "Charlotte" with fragments of quotes: "We will always be fascinated by electronic music. We are kids of the 80s." If that's not a hint this is a dance tune - the ensuing airy electro-disco tune with requisite zaps and distorted voices is. Though "Charlotte" is off the UK duo's newest album "The Sun and The Neon Light," you may find it makes you crave the neon light over sun. The other mystery, who the hell Charlotte is, we may never know......
