It was pretty tough deciding which track to leave you with before the holiday weekend, But Icy Demons won out for some very important reasons, all of which will now be tied pitifully to stars, stripes, popsicles, BBQs or fireworks. Well, maybe later. The band's ringleaders—Chris Powell of Man Man and Griffin Rodriguez of Bablicon, both of Need New Body—do hail from cities as distinctly American (Chicago & Philly) as their genre-spanning influences are many. And they weld prog to krautrock with electronic pop torches (yikes) much like, oh, I don't know, SPARKLERS.
But mostly, they just rule really hard and so does the title of the track made available today. Check them out or pay the price and have a very safe, very awesome Fourth.
