Like a dark version of Yaz fronted not by Alison Moyet but Melissa Auf der Maur (stay with us on this one), Cruel Black Dove sound exactly like you’d expect band called Cruel Black Dove to sound: sex, spite, angst, hurt and revolution. The band are from Brooklyn and only formed last year, but if they continue cranking out the darkwave blues numbers, they’re sure to be a hit.
