DOWNLOAD: Thomas Feiner - The Siren Songs
The SEEN RCRD LBL blog just posted a great single from Swedish-born Thomas Feiner and his band The Anywhen, “The Siren Songs”. The track invokes epic, sweeping anthems à la The Verve, Sparklehorse and Tindersticks, with larger-than-life string swells and things of that nature: perfect for drinking alone in a pub and wondering where it all went wrong. The song is off of the album The Opiates-Revised, which was originally released in Europe in 2001 but received limited release everywhere else, thus the current revival SEEN talk about in their post. Nick Cave would approve.
