CONTEST: Win 3-day passes to the POPPED! Philly festival!

Ah, festival season is at hand, and it’s time to pack the snacks, dust off the shades and go see some quality bands in a sunny, outdoors setting. And where better to kick off the season-long festivities than at the POPPED! Festival in Philly, where none other than Vampire Weekend, the Ting Tings, Mates of State, Dan Deacon, O'Death, and loads other awesome acts will be performing for three days? That’s a rhetorical question, readers.

The fest goes from June 20-22, and will also provide a platform for local talent from Philly to showcase their chops. And best part is, we have two 3-day passes to offer to a lucky RCRD LBL reader!

All you have to do is sign up for our email newsletter if you haven’t already (email address field is located to the right of this post), and send us an email with the subject line: “POPPED! CONTEST”. It’s that simple.

The first night of the fest will feature a special performance from Slick Rick and His Band, and the festival also has an amazing “green” initiative you can find more about at their web site. POPPED! will be using recycled paper as much as possible, recycling all water bottles, and will feature booths and seminars educating music-goers on how to do their part in making the festival "sustainable": i.e. improving the relations between society, culture, and our environment.
