There was a time when the Stills didn't interest me much at all. I thought they were just another post-punk cribbing guppy of a band that gave indie-rock something of a claustrophobic, yawn-worthy name. I was a dick. But that doesn't really matter so much now because they're back and they sound gargantuan. Massive. Paul Bunyan wrestling-with-U2-in-Canadian forest massive. Babe the Blue Ox referees. Tiny people gather around cheer. This is very BIG MUSIC.

Anyway, good jams trigger good memories and "Being Here" sounds like the kind of anthem LC and Heidi need to put shit in perspective, remember more peaceful times. They really need to make up already, right? What's that? You don't watch The Hills? Who's the dick now, dude?
