VIDEO THRWBCK: Aaliyah - Try Again (2001)
We're so glad that Aaliyah is having a bit of a resurgence at the moment--not that she ever really went away, as the sound of her musical peak has influenced just about every R&B artist since her untimely death in 2001. We've been listening to her self-titled album basically every day, and luckily our friends over at Patent Leather Daddy recently did a tribute post with a bunch of remixes (some better than others) and a link to the new issue of The FADER that has Baby Girl on the cover.
