These days, the music scene is flooded with acts attempting to redefine music as we know it. Lucky Dragons definitely can be placed in this dissonant pack- though they are not for a one-track mind. Instead, they are performance artists and musicians or "artists who use music." Their creations are more for guttural reaction and the greater whole, than blissful beat bopping or crowd satisfaction.  (If you attended their NY show during the Whitney Biennial, you saw them interact with the audience- with rocks and a weird electrical box. ) Since their songs wind and loop into one profound experience (if you’re willing to listen)- it’s hardly fair to provide one song. But provide one song we did, with hopes it will intrigue you to check em out more fully as they venture to LA’s The Smell and NY in June. You gotta see it to get it.
