James Pants makes funky experimental electronic jams on computers and turntables that sound like !!! if it were 1979 and they were from the Bronx. We’re releasing three James Pants songs today, one being “Dragonslayer”, which features whispered vocals and an amazing breakbeat, “We’re Through”, which has a serious Grandmaster Flash vibe going on with cheap synth sounds and cowbells, and a mind-blowing re-edit of ‘80s Miami R&B singer Howard Johnson’s “Say You Wanna”.
