Laura Barrett finishes work in her Victory Garden

we've slowly been introducing to the RCRD LBL gang our roster of all-stars and this week it's all about Laura Barrett.

Laura, who is also a member of the Hidden Camera's as their keyboard player, is probably one of the most eccentrically wonderful people we've ever had the chance to work with. She continually mesmerizes us with her take on the world and her sense of humor is unmatched. A classically trained pianist that came upon the Kalimba by accident, she stands in a class of her own.

Besides the fact that we're introducing you to her here now on RCRD LBL, I wish to let you all know that she has completed a new album, VICTORY GARDEN, will be released later this year. It features Laura going beyond sparse Kalimba arrangements and includes a wide cast of players.
