Laura Barrett is a woman of many talents: an exceptional classical pianist, she plays keyboards for Canadian indie pop superstars The Hidden Cameras, and is going to release her first solo album, Victory Gardens, later this year on Paper Bag Records. The first single is the mesmerizing “Robot Ponies”, a song that features prominently the use of a Kalimba (an instrument she began playing out of curiosity).
