The San Francisco garage rockers, The Blacks, who remind us of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Gossip (for serious), are treating New Yorkers to three nights of musical experimentation at Pianos, called The Tambourine Experiment. They are arming the crowd with 100 tambourines this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, (May 10-12) and letting the night take lead as they perform. We don’t know what to expect but we’re going because we love their energy. Bonus is they promise to credit everyone and they have extended the invite to you all to partake in something epic arise from drunken hipster jingles.......
