EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOAD: Wild Light - New Year's Eve

I've spent the past week with Wild Light on repeat. But I've had some trouble putting my finger on what it is they have that most bands don't and all bands wish they did. It's clear now: See, I just pulled an all-nighter and I'm teetering at the moment, a state perfect for hearing and feeling the shit you'd otherwise miss completely. Your heart beats with less restraint.
These dudes understand more than just how to take a song to anthem territory. They instill their jams with the life serum and only then, do they amplify them. Does that make sense? I'm going to go have a cry and an early morning nap. I have a feeling you'll understand why I'm having the urge to let loose with the former once you hear this. It's so...pretty.

I caught these guys at the Paradise opening for Clinic this past Friday. I wasn't expecting the live version of their songs to capture the same layers of sound and feeling as their recordings, but I found myself brought to those heights and depths listening in real time, too. The passion and fragility is there, in their voices. Any news about a full length release?
