VIDEO THRWBCK: Lou Reed - Sweet Jane (Live in Paris 1974)
In comparison to the waaaay glammed-out—yet still awesome—version of this track that appears on Lou's live album Rock & Roll Animal, this cut of "Sweet Jane" from a gig in Paris is all street tough curled lip and dark, dark shades. And despite all that, it's still a jam for getting rid of the rainy day bummers. Dig that baseball stadium organ intro and the James Brown move that Lou busts out three minutes in to the clip!
