DOWNLOAD: The Parson Red Heads - Mossback (Live at Spaceland)

We have another live track from Spaceland today, this time from LA indie rock band The Parson Red Heads (who happen to have the best logo ever), whose song “Mossback” starts off as a kind of weirdo post punk vibe with energetic bursts of guitar and a rubbery, disjointed bassline, until the verse kicks in and suddenly it’s super happy funtimes and you’re riding to Venice beach in a convertible Thunderbird, listening to the oldies station. It’s like Buddy Holly meets The Dandy Warhols Come Down, and we like it.
