VIDEO THRWBCK: Depeche Mode - Policy of Truth (1990)

With everyone going crazy over this Jeppe from Junior Senoir Fine Young Cannibals cover (rightfully so, it's kind of awesome), we kind of got grooving to some old school Depeche Mode earlier this afternoon. "Policy of Truth" has always been on of our favorite Depeche songs: smooth, killer, dark and beautiful. Amazing.

violator is one of the best albums of the 90s, often underrated because depeche mode had that screaming girl contingent to deal with here in the states. dark is definitely on the mark, songs like halo and are best listened to in a dark bedroom, preferably just before going to bed.
