DOWNLOAD: Joseph Arthur- Rages of Babylon

While painting frenetically and displaying art in his DUMBO gallery, Joseph Arthur has been developing a series of four solo EPs. These EPs all lead up to August, when he debuts a full-length record All You Need Is Nothing, featuring his band, The Lonely Astronauts. Till then, RCRD LBL is going to post a track a month for your listening pleasure.

Here's a track from EP 1, Can You Survive, called "Rages of Babylon."  Introduced by a loose acoustic guitar and harmonica- Arthur's lyrics bear weight:  "Fighting in a rich man's war/ Blood can't fill oceans of sand/I no longer possess my hand/Or my mind/Or my heart/Or my will."

EP 2 Crazy Rain is out April 15.
