The Austin-by-way-of-LA band A Faulty Chromosome churns out really soft, fuzzed out distortion and slurry sing-speak that the Brits do so well. Yet their music is not overly melodramatic like most My Bloody Valentine descendents. It's got woozy yet kinda gritty "emotronic" elements like Atlas Sound. It's for half-glass-full day-dreaming.
