Everybody, I'd like you to meet Wye Oak. Wye Oak, this is everybody. That was sort of fun. Besides being adorable, these two Baltimoreans capture perfectly the pretty noise you'd expect to hear coming out of the Merge camp down in Chapel Hill: melodies as lush as the Amazon and almost as mellow at times as any number of hippy dippy science teachers you may have had along the way. Before their album comes out next week, download indie-rawk jammer "Warning" and give streaming beauty "I Don't Feel Young" several listens shortly thereafter. Music for the night, I've found it's juuuust right for getting into (or out of) your PJs with. But who am I? Do what you feel!
