As an introduction to the Old Haunts' newest album Poisonous Times, the title "Volatile" gives fair indication of what's to come. Lead singer Craig Extine sounds like a mix between a drunken Robert Plant and White Rabbit's Greg Roberts and he sings about "being on strike" from this capitalist world. Interesting however, the cadence is decidedly blissed out and happy-go-lucky. It's garage punk on uppers.
