FEATURED: MGMT, Yeasayer and Chairlift DJ'd Hanger Bar, weirdly

So... last night was interesting. We got a text from one of our friends who works at Hanger Bar on the LES, saying, somewhat cryptically, that MGMT, Yeasayer, Suckers and our Brooklyn darlings Chairlift were all going to DJ the bar, somewhat simultaneously. How this was not advertised beforehand we will never know, and we had our reservations (too good to be true?) but it totally panned out. MGMT played Phil Collins. Chairlift played "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" by Hall & Oates. Oh, and then Ryan Gosling showed up and kicked it with the mustache dude from Yeasayer. All in all a night to remember, though we were kind of bummed that Chairlift didn't own it and play "Evident Utensil", so here it is for your listening pleasure. If you missed it a few weeks ago, we think that it's the best single from a Brooklyn band since like, TV on the Radio or something. And that's a fact.
