DOWNLOAD: People In Planes- Pretty Buildings
Since 2006's As Far As The Eye Can See, we barely heard a whisper from the quirky Welsh rockers People In Planes. Now, four producers and 6 studios later, People In Planes are (finally) releasing a new, intricately thought-out album, Beyond The Horizon.
Initiating us to their new sound, the single "Pretty Buildings" is introspective, dark rock. If I didn't hate the word Emo and its blatant misuse so much- I'd say Gareth Jones' grilling lamentation brings out the 'emotive' side to 'emo'. Beause by the time the electric guitar and drums kick in, you really believe Gareth really is hurting like hell. It's a bit numbing, a bit embittering. and yet strangely carthartic.
