Experimental jazz/rock/awesome outfit Jet Black Crayon are set to drop their new album on April 8th on the Function 8 label. This time they have expanded their offering by including a DVD of videos created along with the songs. Early demos and rough mixes were shared with the film makers so both music and videos grew together. Today on SEEN we're featuring the video for the song "Lost In The Fog" and thanks to our friends at Function 8 we've got the song available for download in advance of the official release. This video was directed by skateboard film maker Dan Wolfe (Real Skateboards, Nike SB, Adidas SB, etc) and we can really relate to the idea that shitty things happen in life and sometimes we just need to take a moment and enjoy a cold Tecate. 

The Jet Black Crayon crew came to be when Tommy Guererro (former Bones Brigade and Powell Peralta team skater) was was asked to open for Isotpoe 217. He decided against playing a solo show and put together a band with musicians he was close to at the time; Monte Vallier (ex-Swell) and Gadget (Function 8). Along with the JBC regulars, this track features an appearance by John Herndon and Dan Bitney of Tortoise and one of the best uses of harmonica I've heard in a long time. Download. Enjoy.
