Download: Borko - Dingdong Kingdom

After a week of next big things and serious record company scrutiny, it's nice to take a step back and consider the tale of Morr Music's Borko. Having waited 6 years to produce his debut albm, Borko (aka Bjorn Kristiansson) is not in any hurry to cash in on his Mum-like sound.

Kristiansson is just one in Morr Music's long line of Iceland attachments. After talents like Mum and Benni Hemm Hemm have gone to the Berlin-based label, it's quite obvious Mr. Morr has a love for the land of Geysirs and Dottirs. "Dingdong Kingdom" is a tongue-in-cheek pop song with a coy, lovable singsong style. As far from Austin as Reykjavík is from Honolulu. It is the lead single from "Celebrating Life," out in the US on March 25.
