FEATURED: The Heavy, Mgmt, Moby and Justice at C3/Playboy Party in Austin

What do you do after a wicked parade of artists (i.e. Thurston "Come Romp With Me" Moore, "Don't Think I Only Spin" Moby, My "We never lose steam" Morning Jacket, Lou "The God" Reed, and Pharrell "Kangaroo" Williams) cause your adrenalin to blow through the roof? (i.e. last night at the Fader Fort).

We RCRD LBL cats (who alongside hosting a room in the Fader Fort in Austin this year, are intent on seeing majority of the artists we've covered at this year's SXSW and Austin parties) chugged red bull and headed to the "Rock The Rabbit" C3/Playboy party at a warehouse a few blocks from the Fader tent. We could't resist seeing The Heavy, MGMT, Moby, Tommy Sunshine, and Justice all in one big bad-ass boom.

Kelvin Swamy of The Heavy impressed us with his debonair stage presence.......

The MGMT kids blew our minds with psychadelic electric rock - with a concentration on the word ROCK (rather than dance, which was impressive and appreciated). They lived up to every dribble of hype that has been drenched upon them these days.

Second surprise, Moby killed it- in fact there was large debate whether he outshone The Justice set (RCRD LBL says: no comment). He did invite half the crowd onstage which was kind.

(RCRD LBL stands by the good old 'no comment')

To give you a perspective of the furocity of the night, there were rumored TWO outages or blown-fuses. We were onstage when Justice's power went out- our favorite french garcons just stood there shrugging for a bit...and then got the groove going again a minute later. However, evidently during the tailend of the Moby set, one of the ravers he invited on stage bit it on an electric cable and cut off all the electricity (talk about a party foul!) Killer.
