Thank God for the Black Ghosts--the magnetic duo of Simon Lord and Theo Keating--for being one of the only electro-rock bands of the moment to really give us the tingle-down-the-spine that a really danceable pop song should. You may recognize Simon's voice: he used to be the lead singer for Simian, and specifically "Never Be Alone", the song that was sampled in 2006's "We Are You Friends" Simian Mobile Disco/Justice super hit. He's one of our favorite male pop vocalists of the moment, and it's awesome to see how new band being received so well in America (as their debut record is about to drop on IAMSOUND records).
