For over a year now, Foals fans have been hailing the band as the future of rock ‘n’ roll (no joke), and for once the hyperbolic music press might be right. By far, Foals are the only rock band today with traditional instrumentation that are pushing the envelope WAY forward, sounding more like a minimal rave in a disused warehouse than the typical indie rock style Britain is so prone to producing.
We’re ready to bet money that you’ve never quite heard anything like “Balloons”, Foals’ new single and today’s download.
