Citay's not making it any easier not to move to San Francisco. Yeah Brooklyn's cozy, but all the music here makes you clench your teeth and stare hard. Out there everything seems to be eyes closed and mouths open in a neverending '70s soda commercial. Everything feels good.

This new Citay jam... mama... call out the instigator. Heavy reverb turns already blissed out vocals into out-of-body experiences. It's this beachy mix of jangly acoustic guitar and ELO synth and the back-up singers say oooh ahhhhhhhhh... It doesn't hurt that the two man band has blossomed into a bonafide collective, borrowing talent from members of Tussle, Crime in Choir, The Dry Spells, Meridians, 3 Leafs, Galactic Bunz, and Sweet Potatoes. "Eye On The Dollar" is a perfect breezy follow-up to "First Fantasy." The kinda thing that begs to be listened to in a car. Damn you Brooklyn.
