When an album is named after hairloss, you get a feeling it may be a bit on the somber side. Why?'s preview to their March release Alopecia, “The Hollows” confirms this theory. Yoni Wolf’s pre-slumber stream-of-conscious rap about shaky gums, knife-totting gypsies, and weak pilot lights is gritty and impassioned. Laced with soulful woos by Nedelle Torossi, it’s a fuck you lullaby to put all cooing lullabies to shame.
