There is certainly the opinion that the next wave of music, the next big thing as it were, will co-opt the gloom and doom of industrial and darkwave music. Despite having bongos, Apche Beat is doing its finest to be right at the cusp. Ilirjana Alushaj's vocals echo early dance acts like Liaisons Dangereuses and their angular mess has nearly everyone talking.

So naturally Summer Lovers Unlimited gets involved. Up to their eyeballs in hip (Teenagers, Dandi Wind), Montreal's finest imprint mixes it up and calls on London/Paris/Whatever duo Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya for the remix. It's all quite sick. And moody.
