You must have seen the trailer for Cloverfield by now - maybe you’ve even seen the movie. It’s what TV dude J.J. Abrams does for his first feature. And this creature feature with a relative cast of unknowns takes the biscuit for a number of reasons.  It was the biggest opening for a movie in January ever - taking the crown away from Star Wars (re-issue). It was made for a real modest $25 million due to the hand-held shaky way it was made. And it roared all the way to the box office bank on Web-based anticipation that even surpassed Snakes On A Plane.

To see real POV filmmaking, we thought we’d post the Prodigy’s legendary naughty night out “Smack My Bitch Up”.  Almost nothing was this raw, with a twist this good, until Old Boy.
