STREAM: Cut Copy - Lights and Music

It seems like Cut Copy’s last album, the modern dance-pop classic Bright Like Neon Love came out eons ago, we’ve been jamming out to its tunes for so long. Literally, it still gets spins on the RCRD LBL HQ stereo regularly. “Saturdays”, “Going Nowhere”… good times. Anyway, as you all know the band have been teasing the world with little tidbits of their new record, In Ghost Colours, for the past few months, with their critically lauded “Hearts on Fire” 12” in 2007 and a few other tracks. Well, today Cut Copy are releasing their new single “Lights and Music” on RCRD LBL faves Modular Records, and it’s a great way to launch the new campaign. It doesn’t veer too far from the New-Order-meets-Daft-Punk vibe of Neon Love, but still manages to sound fresh and new. We’re streaming the single to celebrate its release, and we also have a sick Boys Noize remix for you to sink your teeth into. Check out the Modular blog for more info, tour dates, etc.
