FEATURED: Beck x Cornelius

We hesitate to say that the last time Beck was relevant was 1999’s Midnite Vultures, but only a little. That album brings back some intense middle school good times for us, especially “Mixed Bizness” (“make all the lesbians scream!”) whose crazy mock ‘70s funk made it the best song on the record by far. We were also totally into Japanese alt. rock around that time, like Buffalo Daughter and Cornelius (whose remix of BD’s “Great Five Lakes” will forever be 1998 in a nutshell). So it’s cool that we’ve just come across a Cornelius remix of “Mixed Bizness” from around that same time. Memories!
