FEATURED: Air x Simian Mobile Disco
Air’s Talkie Walkie is one of those albums that ages over time. The other day we were trying to get into their latest release, Pocket Symphony (an album with good songs but better intentions) and ended up throwing on Talkie instead, which in retrospect, is their best album since Moon Safari. Anyway, “Cherry Blossom Girl” remains one of our favorite Air songs ever, so it’s fitting that one of our favorite producing teams, Simian Mobile Disco, banged out a remix a while back. It turns the original, laid-back tune into a glitchy electro dance number, which is kind of a feat in itself. Pasta Primavera featured the track today.
