DOWNLOAD: The Dodos - Fools
Just in time for this weird reverse indian summer NYC is experiencing right now, we’re posting “Fools”, the uplifting lead track off of The Dodos’ new release on Frenchkiss, Visiter. It comes off as what the Animal Collective would be had they spent more time listening to the Pixies and less time listening to obscure Krautrock (not that there’s anything wrong with that-do animal collective even listen to krautrock?-ed). The song is chugging, powerful folk pop, and the San Francisco duo’s vocal abilities take center stage, along with the catchy acoustic guitar stabs and drum rolls.
