favorite place to dj (or hear djs) in 2007? not ideal BUT, in actual practice I ended up at the Hiro alot. saw James Murphy, Feadz and Diplo there on different nights: each was pretty great. dj'd there a few times too. Stretch and Eli SOUNDSYSTEM at 205 is real good too.
favorite lab personality of 2007? the ROC. hands down. even though you guys banned him from the blog.
your favorite tv shows, books and / or movies of the year? the wire as usual. anything by Cormac McCarthy
your favorite places to eat this year? Grand Szchwan 24th and 9th NYC. ALSO Lupe's (in soho)
your favorite youtube clip of the year? pretty much any "how to" dance video what involves doing : the wu-tang, the sponge-bob or the percolator.
your favorite thing that you bought this year? it wasn't made by Rane that's for sure.
your favorite tang of the year? doin' the wu-tang.
what did you learn as a human this year? act like you know what you're doing and people will pay you. ALSO I learned how to DJ some. ALSO trying to mix a record in your bedroom so it sounds good in the club is fucking hard to do.
favorite moment of 2007? Opening for Bjork at the Apollo.
if you could change one thing about 2007 what would it be? "blog house" could just be called house? less crappy "baltimore"-style remixes by people from omaha or whatever.
favorite word or phrase of 2007? the return of "d-bag." also: "snuggle-fuck" is very entertaining.
