what you like or hate about djing in 2007? liked the continued diversity of songs and genres which are "acceptable" for cool djs to play. disliked the speed without purpose that comes with the serato generation.
favorite place to dj (or hear djs) in 2007? I like hearing djs at Love, Studio B, 205, APT, but really a good dj is more important than good sound. also the REALLY good sound is at all the places I dont go to.

your favorite tv shows, books and / or movies of the year? TV: Lost, The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Trailer Park Boys, Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, How It's Made movies internet: got really into Lone Wolf & Cub (old Japanese samurai movie series), 80 Blocks From Tiffany's movies theater: Into The Wild, No Country For Old Men, Super Bad, Knocked Up. books: Ask The Dusk, Investing For Dummies, Mayflower, Delirious New York, some others.... but Blood Meridian did it for me. Dump truck full of gravel on your head.

NY: Pho Bang, Max, Paris Bakery, Dipalo Cheese Shop (lasagna), Omen, Hisaki, Joe's Shanghai, Wild Ginger, Difara's Pizza (for pies), Joe's Pizza (for slices), Grey's Papaya, Mamoun's Falafel, Punjabi Star, Frank's, Lil Frankie, La Esquina, Bedford Ave Sopas, Pepe Rosso, there's probably a lot I'm forgetting.

your favorite tang of the year? For famous people, Im all about 60s playboy with the puffy nipples- ladies of the 2000s I just cant trust. Either too skinny or too fake or too old or too young or something. My real tang of the year is half the women in new york city. Mind boggling selection, just walk down any street.
what did you learn as a human this year? Be happy to be alive, take it from there.
favorite moment of 2007? celebrating my birthday somewhere on a river in India with a fire pit going, two good friends, and no sounds except the animals, birds and bugs doing their night time moves.
if you could change one thing about 2007 what would it be? the iphone would have cut & paste and not be so prone to pocket calls. f
