FEATURED: Tigercity

We haven't come across a band like Tigercity in a long time--a band that's so into their own universe and aesthetic they end up sounding like an amazing version of like, soft rock heroes Hall & Oates and Maroon 5 (don't hate, you know that sounds like the best combo ever) with absolutely no regards to trend or hype. This band's music is totally adult contemporary made by twentysomethings from Brooklyn, and the most incredible part is it's not annoying. On the contrary, it's the perfect sort of party music, deep funk grooves and falsetto vocals, with more soul than most bands have in their guitar picks. Lines Through Lines thinks the same and has featured Tigercity's debut EP Pretend Not to Love in their top music of 2007 list. Check it out, and prepare to be blown away.
