FEATURED: The Twilight Sad at the Drowned in Sound RCRD LBL blog

The Twilight Sad are a shoegaze band from Glasgow, Scotland--well, we call them shoegaze because they use wall of sound instrumentation and distorted guitars, but they're much more uplifting than most bands that would be considered within that genre. We caught their opening set at last summer's Siren Festival totally by accident, and it turned out to be the best surprise of the afternoon. Front man James Graham sings in a thick Scottish brogue, and sort of recalls a Glaswegian Morrissey fronting an edgier version of Idlewild. The Drowned in Sound RCRD LBL blog just posted a remix of the Twilight Sad's track "That Summer, At Home I Had Become the Invisible Boy" by French-born, London-based producer Ensemble. Check it out!
