FEATURED: Jacques Renault and Flying Lotus party it up in NYC
We've got two unmissable parties for you to check out tonight if you're in NYC, and both from RCRD LBL-affiliates. The first soirée is Moby's new Hiro Ballroom fixture, Degenerates, with special guest DJ Jacques Renault (who'll be spinning with his 205 Tuesdays partner-in-crime Justin Miller of DFA). DFA-signees Holy Ghost! will also be performing, so expect an all-night disco extravaganza. Princess Superstar will also be DJing, and there's an open vodka bar during the wee hours. What more could you ask for?
The second party is Flying Lotus' appearance at El-P's show at Studio B tonight (electro band Home Movies will also be in attendance). It's a free show, so be sure to get there early. Obviously, this will be the event of the season for any self-respecting hip hop enthusiast. FlyLo's innovative beat-splicing is sure to be a highlight, so brave the cold and make sure you make it in!
