EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOAD: Apes & Androids - Creepy Girls

It seems like nowadays, you always read about bands "defying genrefication", because music journalism has become so compartmentalized and stale that there's no way to describe an interesting-sounding band without bringing up the fact that they're not new-ghettotech-rave, or post-new-wave-punk-funk, or whatever. So few bands actually deserve to be titled as innovative, it's almost like journalists pepper the phrase around just to appease editors. That said, we have to admit, Apes & Androids totally defy genrefication.
Today we're very delighted to bring you "Creepy Girls" by NYC band Apes & Androids, and the only description of the song that readily comes to mind is that it sounds like something in between Laurie Anderson, Queen, The Misfits, and something Joe Meek produced in the '60s. It's creepy for sure, but also eerily captivating, and most importantly, fresh. Check out our exclusive download for yourself...
