Yelle is a French one-woman rap machine, prone to diss tracks and electro beats courtesy of new-on-the-scene French touch DJ Grand Marnier. The track that catapulted her into stardom was "Je Veux Te Voir", a scathing rant directed to her ex-boyfriend, Cuizinier of Parisian hip-hop collective TTC. We won't even go there, but the content was pretty deep and X-rated, even for the French. Fluxblog just posted a new track of hers, "Tu Es Beau" ("You Are Beautiful"), which is a melodic slow-jam that sees Yelle rhyming about her conflicted attraction to playas.
