Featured: Miracle Fortress

Perhaps the biggest disappointment of this past CMJ was the absence of Miracle Fortress, who were denied entry to the country (surely because they post an imminent threat to out nation). Miracle Fortress is one Graham Van Pelt, a seemingly mild-mannered Canadian gentleman who makes dreamy electro-pop (exactly the kind of you would expect from a mild-mannered Canadian gentleman). Graham hasn't tried to tour America since that ill-fated CMJ showcase, but hopefully the authorities will let him play next time. Peer Validated just wrote about his song "Next Train", a track off of Miracle Fortress' debut record, Five Roses. Enjoy!
