FEATURED: Metric set to release live DVD
RCRD LBL-affilliates Metric have always put on an exciting live show, in part due to their crazy electro-rock songs, and in part due to front woman Emily Haines' ability to light a crowd on fire with one deft scissor kick. If one thing is to be said about that band, it's that their stage show is a unique musical experience, and next February, they're are putting out a live DVD geared towards uber-fans (of which there are many, let us not forget that front woman Emily Haines is part of the Broken Social Scene collective) called Metric: Live at the Metropolis. The band have just posted the trailer on their YouTube channel. Take a look, doesn't it feel like you're there already?

It wouldn't be a Metric show
It wouldn't be a Metric show if Emily weren't wearing that outfit. I've seen them four times -- three times in the black one, once in the white one. (Don't mistake this for a complaint!)
It's nice to see an artist
It's nice to see an artist focusing on her music rather than her clothes.
